We try to create our garments in the most sustainable way possible
In South Africa we are blessed with amazing weather and we are privileged to witness the beautiful environment every day.
For this reason, we create our garments in the most sustainable way possible.
Recycled Fabrics
We make our garments from sustainable fabrics. We incorporate sustainability, making a difference where ever we can. We aren’t perfect, but we want to contribute and create awareness wherever we can.
MITI
MITI has made sustainability its business and production philosophy, which it summarized in the concept of Greenperforming: its approach to the development of textile solutions that are at the same time “green” and performing, capable of offering the best functional and aesthetic performance while protecting the nature that surrounds us.
Carvico
For years now, Carvico has been offering customers a selection of high end recycled fabrics made of ECONYL® yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from pre and post industrial waste such as discarded fishing nets, carpet fluff (the top part of Nylon carpets which have got to the end of their useful life), tulle etc. Once these materials have reached the end of their useful life, instead of being disposed of in the landfill, are recovered and regenerated by means of a complex chemical-physical process.
Reduced Plastic Packaging
Our garments are shipped in packaging made of compostable or recyclable material. Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental issues over recent years. That is why we commit to sending your garments in plastic-free packaging. We send all our products in compostable bags, made of sustainable plants and non-toxic, compostable resin. Our bags will turn into water and carbon dioxide leaving no trace.
Nature is beautiful and fragile, and it’s where we play. That is why we always think about reducing our impact when we create our products.
